Professor Andrew Jones

Andrew Jones is Vice-President (Research & Enterprise) and Professor of Economic Geography at City, University of London. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Social Science, serving on its governing Council since 2015. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and the Royal Society of Arts. His research interests crosses several academic disciplines including political science, sociology and management studies.

Throughout his academic career, a major research interest has been globalization and the development of an integrated global economy and society. In particular, his work has been concerned with global corporations, professional service industries, mobility, international working and civic society organizations. He has a PhD and BA from Cambridge, as well as an MSc from the University of Bristol.
