Grant holders must formally deposit all data created or repurposed during the lifetime of a grant in a responsible data repository. They must also provide metadata relating to the grant to the UK Data Service within three months of the end of the grant.
Data may be lodged with the UK Data Service or an appropriate responsible digital repository. In either instance the metadata should be provided to the UK Data Service by creating a record in ReShare.
If you anticipate any problems depositing data, you should contact the UK Data Service as soon as possible using the UK Data Service query page or telephone 01206 872974.
You can find further information on the UK Data Service website.
Failure to deposit your data and inform the UK Data Service of the published location will result in you being ineligible to submit any further funding applications until the issue is resolved.
