Amy Mount

Amy is an environmental campaigner and strategist. As Senior Associate at the philanthropic European Climate Foundation, she supports the UK climate community to deepen political consensus and secure policies to achieve net zero emissions.

She sits on the London Wildlife Trust’s board and the decision panel for the National Lottery’s Climate Action Fund. As a civil servant at Defra she led diverse, supportive and high-performing teams through complexity and uncertainty.

She previously ran the Greener UK coalition of environmental non-government organisations, influencing Brexit negotiations and flagship parliamentary bills. Her career has also included communications consultancy, research, education and mentoring.

She holds a BA in Geography from Cambridge University and as a Mellon Fellow at Yale University earned masters degrees in Global Affairs and Environmental Management.
