Better Lives is our fifth photographic competition aimed at 14-18 year olds. For 2018-19 the challenge is to take a photograph to show what 'better lives' means to you. What brings quality to our lives in this day and age? Is it better education, health and wellbeing, relationships, more money, or a safer, sustainable environment?

The competition has five diverse categories:

  • Better health
  • Better education
  • Better economy
  • Better environment
  • Better relationships.

These categories can cover a range of subjects such as family, the economy, work, infrastructure, health, climate change and sustainability.

We encourage the use of mobile phones and tablets to take images, as well as cameras, making the competition accessible to young people without access to a camera.

Winners and those being exhibited will be invited to attend a private viewing and prize-giving awards event on 26 March 2019 at the Espacio Gallery, London. Parents or guardians and teachers or youth leaders will also be invited.
